I’m acting as a level three support for virtual infrastructure. I am administering, configuring, monitoring and troubleshooting four Citrix farms composed of XenApp 5.0, XenApp 6.5 and XenDesktop 7.6. There are over 700 applications published for various device types, along with terminal services and a VDI farm, all used by over 14000 *** from eleven countries. As a member of the Citrix virtual team, I was involved in publishing new apps, support Service Manager in upgrading existing apps, migrating apps in the newer farms and on newer operating systems, along with configuring, monitoring and troubleshooting the published apps. I was also involved as main technical support for designing, implementing, running and troubleshooting VDI farms. We successfully finished four VDI pilots for the business divisions and filling stations, one of which was for a 3D VDI farm used by geologists. We are running the fifth pilot now with 100 *** and we are preparing a new VDI farm which will accommodate 10000 *** in the next four years. Used technologies: XenApp 5.0, XenApp 6.5, XenDesktop 7.6, Storefront 3.0, WebInterface 5.4, Director 7.6, VMware eSXi 5.5, NetScaler, XenServer 6.5, Hyper-V, USX 2.0, NUTANIX, Unidesk, Windows Server 2008 r2, Windows Server 2012, Windows 7, Windows 8.1 and Windows 10.

I have acted as Application Administrator for some clients and as System Administrator for the internal infrastructure. In the System Administrator functionI have administered a total of about 20 servers, including a DAG Exchange 2010 Server, a Microsoft Lync Server, a Microsoft Sharepoint 2007 Server, an Active Directory 2008 and a Microsoft WSUS Server. I also had in my administering some VmWare ESXi servers with a total of approximately 40 virtual machines. I was also responsible for creating virtual servers and installing any Microsoft server platforms and applications, which the company used in various projects.
In the Application Administrator function, I have continued administrating of the HP application suite (HP Service Manager, HP TeMIP, HP Decision Center and HP Connect-IT) present in the company Rompetrol. |

I needed to ensure that all applications in my care are functioning inside the designated parameters, and I was in charge of monitoring and tuning the performance of the application suite.
