Java Software Development (Junior Developer Module)

Projects:

·         'Expression Evaluator' - The purpose of the project was to evaluate arithmetic expressions. This was done in two steps: convert an arithmetic expression from the infix notation to the postfix notation (reverse Polish notation), and evaluate an arithmetic expression in postfix notation, using Stack data structure.

·         'Radix sort' - The purpose of the project was to implement a non-comparative integer sorting algorithm, a simplified version of radix sort, using Queue data structure.

·         'Surprise Sharing' - The purpose of the project was to design a class hierarchy for creating, gathering and sharing surprises. The project uses inheritance, abstract classes, interfaces, upcasting, polymorphism.

·         'Registrations Management System' - The purpose of the project was to manage the registrations for an event, by keeping an attendants list and a waiting list, using ArrayLists. These lists were automatically updated in case an attendant cancelled the registration.
