Projects participation
Banking projects - Credit transfer from one branch to another, late loans reports and audit, E-Banking application, client auditing.
Data migration - Migration from FoxPro to SQL Server, from FoxPro to Informix, from Interbase to Sybase, from SQL Server to Oracle and vice-versa.
Implementation - I was involved in the most delicate first steps (when still working in dual mode – old and new) of the implementation of a new banking application at BRD – SocGen Bank, I was the leader of the team that have implemented the hardware and the software for three locations of National Bank of Romania for stock evidence (including the personnel training).
Adapting - I worked in France to a project of adapting the existing applications and databases in telecommunications for the Eastern countries in Europe (with interfaces between Oracle and SQL Server databases and migration from Access to SQL Server databases). This project was a telecommunication project concerning GPRS of V12 version.
Natural language - I was part of the team who developed two projects concerning DMS (document managing systems) and NLU (natural language usage). These two projects were developed in Bucharest and Berlin for English, German, Romanian languages and it was in plan to be adapted for French too. The targeted market was mass media.
Stock - I was project manager of a team working to a financial project for tourism reservations.
Web portal - I was project manager of the team working on a customizable portal for medium and small enterprises.
Backup - I have designed, executed and put in practice two backup solutions.
Virtualization - I have put in practice virtualization for my environment for development.
Siveco Satellite - I was the architect of the development of an application used to correct some Siveco Application problems and to greatly enhance the reporting capabilities with native Excel and PDF exports.
Data Migration - I was the architect of a migration mechanism for ERP implementation that involved a lot of automation to ensure data consistency and reliability.
Eliminate Database - hardcoded values I was the architect of a very ambitious project to rewrite the database code in order to eliminate the majority of the database hardcoded values by using dedicated tables.
