July –> October 2018 – Devmind Academy:
Java Software Development (Junior Developer Module)
Projects:
· 'Expression Evaluator' - The purpose of the project was to evaluate arithmetic expressions. This was done in two steps: convert an arithmetic expression from the infix notation to the postfix notation (reverse Polish notation), and evaluate an arithmetic expression in postfix notation, using Stack data structure.
· 'Radix sort' - The purpose of the project was to implement a non-comparative integer sorting algorithm, a simplified version of radix sort, using Queue data structure.
· 'Surprise Sharing' - The purpose of the project was to design a class hierarchy for creating, gathering and sharing surprises. The project uses inheritance, abstract classes, interfaces, upcasting, polymorphism.
· 'Registrations Management System' - The purpose of the project was to manage the registrations for an event, by keeping an attendants list and a waiting list, using ArrayLists. These lists were automatically updated in case an attendant cancelled the registration.
March –> May 2018 – Devmind Academy:
Java Software Development (Beginners Module)
Projects:
· 'Numbers Details' - The purpose of the project was to design a calculator that computed some properties for a set of numbers. The project focus was on using optimization techniques like caching and lazy numbers mechanisms.
· 'Player Status' - The purpose of the project was to design a class that describes the rules of a game and the behaviour of a player during this game, using basic OOP concepts such as class fields, methods, access modifiers.
