GUI Front End Developer


As a Front-End Developer at Computaris Romania, you will be involved in software development projects in the field of mobile telephony, telecoms messaging and telecoms interworking using state-of-the-art technologies.

Here’s what you will do:

 

Implement web designs and user interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript

Design and create advanced, responsive Web Applications

Write clean, well-engineered, maintainable code that conforms with accepted standards, and test web applications

Communicate effectively with project managers, technical leads, and other internal team members

Identify opportunities for process improvement and make constructive suggestions for change

Understand the goals and strategy behind each project from conception through completion

 

 


What skills are needed?

Here’s what it takes to get here:

 

University degree in Computer Science or a related discipline

Minimum 3 years of development experience of SPA-type applications;

Solid, proven experience with AngularJS framework;

Good knowledge of JSON, REST, AJAX, web sockets etc

Experience with dynamic style sheet languages (e.g. Sass/Less) and frameworks (e.g. Compass);

Experience with CSS frameworks (Bootstrap, Material, Foundation etc) and responsive design

Familiar with MVC and other design patterns;

Experience with version control

Excellent written and spoken English.

Highly motivated and ability to work in small teams.

Ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines.

 

 

Cool to have:

 

Ability to inject ng-ninja into an Angular application

Some folks here love Typescript and Angular 2/4, do you?

NodeJS experience will make you look even cooler, with a bonus of any backend languages

As any savvy front-end developer, unit/e2e tests should be a second nature (with some jasmine scent here and there)

 

 

NoSQL knowledge won’t hurt to have
Some for a pinch of Unix know-how
